Prayer Opens Doors

July 24

“…pray also for us, that God
would open to us a door for the Word,
to speak the mystery of Christ,
for which I am also in chains,

that I may make it manifest,
as I ought to speak.”

Colossians 4:3-4

What Paul is implying here is that doors don’t open automatically, it takes prayer. When we speak or labor in ministry, it must be bathed in prayer.

Prayer is the most important thing a believer will do. Do not neglect it. Find time for in-depth prayer, MAKE time for it. Only then will doors open to you.

vs 17
“Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord,
that you may fulfill it.”

How sad if later we find out that we did not take the time to pray, and because of that we did not fulfill God’s plan for our life, our personal call.

As the saying goes: pray as though everything depended on God, and work as though everything depended on you.
