Behold The Lamb

April 8

When John saw Jesus approaching him he said:

“Behold THE LAMB OF GOD
who takes away the sin of the world!”
John 1:29

A question for Passover:

Did You Know That Jesus Is Jewish?

Not ‘was,’ but ‘is.’

His mother was Jewish, all his family were Jewish, and the entirety of his life was lived in Israel. Furthermore, when he returns he will return not to Rome, not to Washington, but he will descend upon the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem!

Incredibly, some people accept the lie that Jesus was a “Palestinian.” But his genealogy links him back to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and on through King David. When Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David were alive, there were NO “Palestinians,” as Islam did not come into the world till several centuries after Jesus’s birth.

The legal genealogy of Jesus is recorded in Matthew:

“Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob,
and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers.
…And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary,
of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ.”
Matthew 1:2, 16

Jesus was born a Jew, lived out his life as a Jew, died as a Jew, and will return as a Jew. He will set up his Kingdom in Jerusalem, Israel.

The One who came as the Lamb of God, will return as the “Lion of the Tribe  of  Judah.” No longer the meek lamb sent to be sacrificed, no, this time he returns as a Lion! He will destroy every enemy of God and set up his Kingdom to rule over the entire world – his kingdom wherein will dwell righteousness.

Amen! Even so, COME Lord Jesus!
